Some friends hired me to shoot a holiday family portrait session in Hayward, CA. We looked at some locations and decided on Meek Park, which features large open grassy areas, playground and walkways surrounding a gorgeous historic landmark, the Victorian Meek Estate Mansion and Carriage House. I used two off-camera flash units in various creative ways to supplement the fading evening sunlight.
