Mission to Macabebe

In May of 2019, I traveled to the Philippines with some a church community based in San Francisco. I flew to Manila and was met by my hosts, the pastors of Macabebe Christian Fellowship. We drove northwest to San Fernando and stayed in the nearby village of Macabebe in the province of Pampanga.

I spent about 10 days in the region, visiting small local churches where we shared personal testimonies of our Christian faith. Most of our time was spent simply loving and serving the many children in the local community, and we finished out the mission with a large youth event that drew about 1,000 in attendance.
